Starving to death.

Will you help end their hunger?

The people of Somalia and South Sudan are in desperate need of your help. With the worst drought in years, rising food prices and violent conflict, millions of people are literally starving to death.

The UN has declared an emergency crisis and called upon the international aid community to raise £billions to save the lives of over millions of desperate people in East Africa.

20 million people across Nigeria, South Sudan, Yemen and Somalia are on the brink of famine and in urgent need of emergency food supply. Some 1.4 million children are severely malnourished and at immediate risk of disease and death.

No food, no water, no peace.

Lack of rain, failing crops and a severe water shortage have plunged millions of people into desperate conditions across East Africa. Food prices have rocketed as supplies are increasingly scarce.

This is their reality:

Families are now going days without any sustenance whatsoever and with little end in sight.

Children are weak, tired and in pain without food and clean, safe water.

Livestock and cereal production has ground to a halt almost entirely, leaving these communities with nowhere to turn.

Desperate circumstances are further amplified by conflict and threat of rape and kidnapping in an area that has already seen much violence. Every day, thousands flee the area in search of safety and food.

What will you do?
